League News Update 3-6

It's trade deadline time. The Captains have made several huge trades, which I will leave for Micro to elaberate on. As the league moves on the NFA is starting to take shape with history as old playoff teams fight to return and keep the new ones on the sideline. A good game to watch for in week seven will be the Twisters vs. the Captains. Bar Harbor needs to get in gear if they want to win this one, because Oaklahoma has only lost one game this season. Former Boston Liberty QB Marc Madison was able to lead Boston to Super Bowl 1 and the first perfect season in NFA history. This off season Madison was acquried by the Oaklahoma Twisters, who had everthing right except the QB position. With former Yukon Yeti rookie Kenny Mansfield starting his second year in Oaklahoma, interceptions and fumbles plagued the Twisters all year. This year with Madison starting, the Twisters could easily make the playoffs and possibly go all the way this year. In other news, Carson City looks to still be a good team, however it is now apparent that they have fallen out of the elite status they have held in the past two years. Their record still stands at 4-2 this season, but as they take on the Flyers this week it looks like they'll still be in the playoff picture if they continue to face easy teams. Another good game to watch in week seven is Yukon at Spokane. The Spokane Ospreys look like they finally got things together this season with a record of 5-1. The defending Super Bowl champion Yeti roll into town to see if they can knock Spokane out of their winning streak. That's it for week 6 update, we're getting closer to the midseason point.
